Projected maturity: now-2012.
Domaine La Croix Belle 2000 VdP Des Cotes de Thongue Languedoc, France Red : 88
Aromatically demure, the medium to dark ruby-colored 2000 Vin de Pays des Cotes de Thongue No.7 offers excellent depth of raspberry and black cherry fruit. Hint of freshly laid road tar can be found in this concentrated, focused wine's medium-bodied personality. A blend of seven varietals, therefore the name, it was aged for 12 months in new oak barrels. Drink this fine value over the next 5 years.
