VARIETIES:
Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir, Cinsault, Carignan, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
YIELD:
25 hectolitres per hectare.
VINIFICATION:
The different varieties are handled separately in open vats and the caps punched. Long maceration. Malolactic fermentation in oak barrels.
MATURING:
About 12 months in wooden barrels. Bottled without filtration.
TASTING NOTES:
A deep, extremely brilliant purple. An elegant, concentrated and very complex nose with aromas of black fruits and undergrowth and also of chocolate, coffee, grilled rusk and spices. Velvety start in the mouth, very full and with a very long finish.

SERVING SUGGESTION:
Serve with regional dishes, duck breast, roast leg of lamb or grilled steak.
